What you can’t see cannot be imagined

Imagine Apple launching a new product without a slick image campaign. It’s inconceivable to think that major brands would not apply visual storytelling in every area of their communication, including earned media
On May 29, 1992, Apple launched the first personal digital assistant (PDA) onto the market, the Apple Newton. Apple CEO of the time John Sculley said it was "nothing less than a revolution," He was right; however, Apple's timing was poor. The product was underdone, expensive and ultimately superseded by the much more successful 3M ranges of PWAs. Apple eventually learned from this experience and made sure they got the release of the iPhone just right. The rest, as they say, is history.
What Apple learned from the Newton
The Newton wasn't a complete failure; it taught Apple how to launch the iPhone and the critical role of the media. It showed Apple that you create your success, not by following, but by leading.
The lessons of Apple
Apple is now one of the most valuable brands on the planet, and a brand that has influenced even more valuable brands in how to engage with the media. They are more media-literate and know the value of a good story and great image. Brands like Apple have created the need for an online newsroom solution like Lookatmedia™.

‘I want it!”
Just as you didn't know you wanted an iPhone until you learned how cool it was, you may not know how much you want a Lookatmedia™ centre. It's a SaaS media centre solution you can set up in minutes and start using from day one. Like the iPhone, it allows you to store your media contacts, images, and videos. It will enable you to communicate more efficiently. It captures valuable information about how the media responds to your content. It's something you'll use every day and something you'll be happy to rely upon.
Unexpected benefits
Just as your iPhone has become an essential business tool, so your Lookatmedia™ will become an important media relations tool. While your media releases are restricted to your media contact list, your Lookatmedia™ newsroom opens you to a world of possibilities. All the content you publish on your Lookatmedia™ centre is discoverable through search engines. That's good because increasingly time-poor journalists search online for story ideas. It's also where media representatives and influencers look for new and original ideas.
A whole new world
If you were to decide solely based on the content in most retail brands' newsrooms, you'd never invest. If you were a journalist, you would struggle to find much to write about. If you were a shopper, you wouldn't bother to enter the store. Lookatmedia™ changes all of this. You can create content for business media that inspires them to sing your virtues. You can create content for journalists and media representatives that build and keep your brand and offer front of mind with consumers. You can drive more social media exposure and engagement through influencers. All of this from one compact, neat little intuitive software solution…' I must have it!’
